The Herb Society of Southwestern Virginia will sponsor its 4th Annual Scarborough Faire to promote the use and delight of herbs on Saturday, May 1, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the campus of Virginia Western Community College in the Community Arboretum, located at 3095 Colonial Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia. Because the society is dedicated to educating the public about herbs and their many uses admission to this event is FREE! The first 100 attendees will receive a FREE brochure on the 2010 Herb of the Year – Dill.

This one-day event will feature speakers on various garden-related topics, demonstrations, vendors, herbal crafts, herb plants, and herbal refreshments. The Horticulture Club at the college will also be selling annuals out of the greenhouse. All profits made by The Soc...
